Lumia Designs is a greeting card company that wanted an e-commerce site created to replace their existing (non-ecomm) site. The need was to replace the old-fashioned fax and email order system for Lumia’s growing wholesale customer base. They also wanted to allow retail customers to purchase items from the site, and only approved wholesalers would be able to access wholesale pricing, upon login.
I designed and implemented a responsive e-commerce site, featuring over 200 product SKUs to serve both retail and wholesale customers. The layout is clean, minimalistic and showcases the color and detail of the lovingly hand-made cards. The site gained new traffic within months, servicing clients like The Getty Museum and Norton Simon Museum.
